Editorial policy & how we test

How we research, evaluate, and keep our AI tool reviews and guides accurate and useful.

Who writes our content

Articles are researched and written by the GetPulseGear Team. Every post shows its publish date and a last-updated date so you can judge how current it is.

How we evaluate AI tools

  • Real tasks, not demos. We judge tools against everyday work jobs: drafting, summarizing, research, planning, automation, and meeting notes.
  • Consistent criteria. Output quality, accuracy and citation behavior, ease of setup, integrations, privacy and data-retention terms, export options, and value for money.
  • Official documentation. We check vendor docs, pricing pages, and privacy policies, and link to primary sources where possible.
  • Honest limits. We describe trade-offs and who a tool is not for. We do not publish invented benchmarks, fake test statistics, or made-up quotes.

Pricing and accuracy

AI products change quickly. Prices, limits, and features we mention are a snapshot; always check current pricing on the vendor's site before buying.

Independence

Vendors cannot pay for a review, a ranking, or a verdict. Advertising and any affiliate relationships are kept separate from editorial decisions. See our affiliate disclosure.

Use of AI in our own work

We may use AI assistants for outlining or proofreading, but every article is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a human before publishing.

Updates and corrections

We revisit posts when tools change materially. Spotted an error? Email hello@getpulsegear.site or use our contact page; we correct verified mistakes and update the last-updated date.
